We loved the old world charm the property exuded, from the paintings on the walls to it's tasteful interiors. The breakfast spread was beautifully presented and the food delicious. Our steward Bhaskaran was exceptionally conscientious and helpful on the mornings he was on duty. On the Sunday we arrived we were delighted to listen to the music provided by a lady singer at the Sunday lunch buffet. It created such a pleasant and relaxing ambience which was a lovely start to our vacation. Monica who we met in the lobby on many occasions was so cheerful and helpful It was lovely chatting with her. Roshni in the salon was one of the most efficient & experienced hair dresser cum beauticians I've met. The salon is well equipped & uses excellent products !

Had a good experience at Taj Connemara while traveling with my family! We, a group of five, including a toddler, booked two rooms. The cleanliness and neatness of the rooms were impressive. The food selection was great, and the restaurant manager, along with the waiters, deserves special recognition for their remarkable service, with a special acknowledgment to Shaj for his extraordinary hospitality. The housekeeping team, particularly Prescilla, left a lasting impression with her bubbly and cheerful personality. My kid bonded very well with her, adding a personal touch to our stay. Shout-out to Veeran and Velayutham. Overall, it was a delightful stay!

Taj Connemara is wonderful as always. In its several incarnations, I have now been a guest for more than twenty years, The hospitality and warmth of the staff is always heartwarming and lovely. I have no negatives to say about this lovely hotel and its even lovelier personnel.

Top notch as always! This was our second weekend getaway here, after the enjoyable previous visit and it didn't disappoint - in fact, exceeded our previous stay. Firstly, thanks to a lovely surprise upgrade to the stunning heritage suite - special call out to all reception staff, especially Hamsini. And secondly thanks to the personalised and dedicated service from all staff in the restaurant and beyond. As always, delicious food with a just the right amount of options in the buffet. Special callout to Rishab, Baskaran, Kaliyaperumal and the chefs who took their time out to get feedback, recommend food based on dietary preferences and more. The swimming pool was very clean and well-maintained. Will definitely be back!

The staff was very friendly especially at the verendha restaurant (the outlet managers specifically who are both in morning and night shift) and it was a great experience. It was a family friendly hotel even though they did not have much for the kids to do than the pool and TV at room.

From the moment we walked through the doors everyone greeted us with warm smiles. The staff at this hotel are outstanding. The luxurious rooms are so comfortable, the food is delicious and the facilities superb. We visited during the Cyclone and to see all the staff come together to deal with the incoming flood water as a complete team was inspiring. Thoroughly recommend the High Tea and Cocktails package. Very conveniently located to the airport and historic buildings. Don’t stay anywhere else in Chennai!

The hospitality of all the staffs be it at the check-in counter or at the restaurant or the room cleaning staffs, everyone was very very nice. For me the hospitality at this hotel is by far the best.

The hotel is centrally located which makes in easy to visit various business/tourist locations in Chennai. The rooms are beautiful yet elegant, and spotlessly clean. Flopping on the soft bed in the chilled bedroom in their plush bath robe after a hot shower made for a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. The Taj Connemara offers all the services you'd expect from a blue-blooded hotel brand, such as a bar with entertainment, a spa (Jiva Spa) and a very Instagram-worthy poolside that's gorgeous at night. But the best part of the hotel is without doubt the PEOPLE: the excellent staff, who attend to your each and every need and request. Right from the security at the entrances and the attendants and managers in the lobby, to the room/floor service and the wonderful people in the Verandah - every one makes sure you get what you want, are very comfortable, and have all your needs met. Everyone makes sure you feel like a King/Queen. They are constantly asking if you'd want anything and if you're having a great stay. Sure I had some minor concerns, but the kindness and friendliness of the people will draw me back to the Taj Connemara again.

We didn't try the breakfast but did have two meals at the hotel which were good. Staff was very helpful including to book a cab at the time of checkout early in the morning. Pool and spa facilities were good, as was the gym. They even had floats and other toys for kids to play with in the pool.
